Fiesta de Colores
Kristy is the co-founder and co-organizer of Fiesta de Colores, a socially engaged urban art festival that connects international, national, and local artists with communities in Ecuador to engage in cultural exchange and creative public dialogue through the catharsis of art. Together, the artists and the community create an outdoor gallery of large scale murals that celebrate the community's identity, raise awareness about social and environmental issues, and beautify neglected public spaces.
HART: The Harlem Art Collective
Kristy is the co-founder and co-organizer of The Harlem Art Collective, a socially conscious and artistically active collective of artists and community members who use art as a tool to engage, educate, unite, inspire, and empower East Harlem.
